VCE & VET IT Day: New, Refresh, Review

Learn with us: Learn from experienced and talented teachers (including members of the writing panel) outline the essentials of VCE IT. Paula Christophersen, ICT Curriculum Manager, VCAA will be speaking, as will teachers who explain how to build an assessment task for the Unit 3 and 4 subjects. Daryl Sutton of the VCAA will be speaking to teachers of VET IT

Learn what's new: This practical hands-on Professional Learning day will help teachers to implement the new study design of VCE Information Technology Units 1 and 2, Information Technology Applications Units 3 & 4, VCE Software Development Units 3 & 4 with their students. VET IT teachers can refresh their teaching with sessions designed especially for them.

Refresh what you already know: The presenters are an experienced team with expertise in the development, assessment and management of the VCE and VET IT studies. This day will suit both teachers new to VCE IT and experienced IT teachers needing to refresh their approach or to incorporate new skills into the planning and delivery of the IT study design for 2011-2014. VET IT teachers are also well catered for.
