8 Apr 2010The 2010 Conference of the National Centre Against Bullying is on 8-10 April 2010 at the Hilton on the Park, Melbourne. The National Centre Against Bullying is an initiative of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation. NCAB brings together a group of experts in the field of bullying to draw national attention to the issue of bullying at school, work, in the community and at home.
With the theme of Navigating the maze: cybersafety and wellbeing solutions for schools, the conference is relevant for teachers, leaders and wellbeing coordinators from primary and secondary sectors, educational psychologists and school counsellors.
Speakers include Shaheen Shariff, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Michel Boivin, Professor of Psychology and Canada Research Chair on Child Social Development at the School of Psychology of Laval University, Bill Belsey, President of Bullying.org Canada, Donna Cross, Professor of Child and Adolescent Health at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia and Director of the Child Health Promotion Research Centre and Helen McGrath who lectures part-time in the School of Education, Faculty of Arts and Education at Deakin University, Melbourne.
